Welcome to our Yard !
Our yard was established in 2007 nestled at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains.We're located just 2.5 mls outside Rathcoole approx.30 min from Dublin International Airport, 10min from Kill International Equestrian Centre, 20min from Punchestown International Horse Trials and only 30 min drive from the Curragh Racecourse and the Irish National Stud.
We are situated on 10.3 acres of studrailed pasture. Our American stablebarn consists of 10 purpose built 12 x 12 boxes, tack & feedroom, wash bay, shower & toilet and storage area. A large 45 ft roofed 6 horse exerciser allows us to keep our horses up to the best fitness and therefore allows them to reach their full potential at shows. We're regular competitors at the nearby Kill International and Coilog Equestrian Centre which we do hire in the winter months on occasions to train our Newcomers.
Our large all weather sand arena 30x60 m allows us to train our horses in reaching good standards in dressage and showjumping. To take a break from the norm of the daily training we take all our stock on a scenic hack around the roads and in and around the forestry which is only a short stroll away.
This enables us to school specially the nervous and young horses with the occassional traffic we might encounter and widen their horizon and experience. Taken part in Regional Training Clinics in the winter months keeps our schooling methods up to date. Once the season starts you could meet us just about anywhere across the whole country.
We also have a breeding unit where we breed some of our youngstock. We take special care in looking after our broodmares as we want the newborn foals to have the best start in life. We pride ourselves in the early handling of our youngstock as it makes life a lot easier when it comes to breaking time.
